Automation of a laser wakefield accelerator

I joined Professor Zulfikar Najmudin’s laser–plasma group to create Python controls for gas-jet experiments and automate analysis in the laboratory.

I later assisted with interferometry setups, phase retrieval, and tomography workflows. This project was my first sustained exposure to plasma experiments and particle-in-cell simulation.
